About me
Mr. Bolong Zhou is currently a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering (Transportation) at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, under the supervision of Prof. Hai Yang. In 2022, Mr. Zhou obtained his B.Eng. degree in Aviation Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, graduating with first-class honors. He has been recognized for his academic excellence and received the HKSAR Government Scholarship in 2019/20, 2020/21, and 2021/22. Furthermore, he was awarded the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship. Mr. Zhou’s research focuses on transport network modeling and optimization, airline and airport operation analysis, and transport economics. He has published four peer-reviewed journal articles as the first author in top-tier transportation journals (Transportation Research Part A/B/C).
